In light of COVID-19, what format will the 2020 awards take - physical or digital?
We had hoped that Government guidelines for gatherings would allow 50-100 people to join us to celebrate the awards in a ‘Hybrid Event’. This would have involved shortlisted entrants present at a live event - convened within the guidelines - plus the ceremony broadcast live with a great degree of interaction with our remote audience.
Currently, this is not possible and therefore we are going to run the inaugural Health & Safety Excellence Awards as a purely digital ceremony. Further details can be found here.
Can I enter more than one category?
Yes, you can enter as many categories as applicable. You must submit a separate entry each time.
If I have any queries on the entry requirements, can I engage with the judging administrators?

What do I get if I win?
You will be awarded with the title of the category you have entered and will be entitled to use the title in all your own communications and marketing activity for the period of 12 months after the awards.
Once the winners are announced at the awards ceremony, you will also receive a special trophy. Winners will be sent their trophy directly to their specified address.
Winners will also be featured in any post awards media coverage provided by our Communications Partner.
If we don’t win, do we get an explanation as to why our entry was not successful?
Yes, you can arrange a feedback session with a member of our staff post-awards. This is by appointment only, so please contact us to schedule the appointment.
If we send supporting materials, can we have them returned to us?
Materials will not be returned. Please send copies only.
Can I query the findings of the judges?
The judges decisions are final.
