Recognising outstanding achievements in health and safety standards on the island of Ireland

I would recommend entering the health and safety awards for any other organisation. It's a great night, you get to meet other people in the same field and to actually go and be a finalist and then to go on and win an award it's a great achievement and a great privilege.

Winning this award is the recognition of all the good work that has gone on for years on site, it's everybody that keeps EHS going. It's not just the EHS Department, it's everybody. So, it's that benefit and we're absolutely over the moon and thrilled with it.

First time going for this award so it's a great effort for the team in 2022 and happy with the result. I think that the safety awards bring a great opportunity for real people that demonstrate their care for people in health and safety.

There's no words to express it because as a safety leader you're always given to others so to be recognized yourself is astounding

To be recognized as a health and safety leader, it definitely puts us in a very good spot against our competitors and it definitely means that we're doing so much more than we used to and hopefully this will continue

We're absolutely delighted. It obviously represents a huge amount of work particularly from our health and safety manager and her team of people so we're delighted. It's the first time we've entered this particular award but we'll certainly be back

It's a great thing to get involved in and I think it gives a great opportunity not just to network and connect with people but just recognize yourself and your teams for the work that you do

We're absolutely ecstatic. Everything we do is down to the colleagues every new initiative is driven by them so um to get this award tonight um is really down to the colleagues as well

We’re over the moon we came here tonight. We weren't expecting to win but we decided to test ourselves against the best in the country and we won. We won two awards. So, we're over the moon

We were very surprised, you think you're not going to win one, but to win two, to be the overall Grand Prix winner. It's massive. We were lost for words to be as there so many big names in there. We just couldn't be happier!

Over the moon. Even the team members that couldn't be here tonight, from our MD right down to our people, we sent it out in our social media. The response from that has been fantastic. It's great.

I would one million percent recommend entering the health and safety awards. It's a fantastic night and a great time to celebrate your health and safety achievements.

It's amazing. It just recognises what we do. It keeps health and safety as top priority. It just proves that we're doing the right thing.

I think for us it meant that it's an appreciation of all the hard work that we put in, at Boston Scientific last year and this represents all that hard work, we are so delighted.

It's a great benchmark at a national level of the work that we do in Tirlán on health and safety every day.

Honestly, we're delighted. To be recognised amongst our peers. Fantastic. It's a great event. Very well attended and a great variety of businesses involved.

I think it's great to be recognised for something. It’s great to recognise the team and all the work that goes into making our places of work a safer place to be.
