This award recognises the most effective use of technology in advancing health & safety performance by any organisation operating in Ireland. It celebrates those that have successfully integrated technological solutions to improve safety management, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation within their operations. Submissions should be made by the end user, demonstrating how their organisation has implemented and utilised the nominated technology over the past 12 months. Entry is by a five-page (A4) submission. Judges will look for clear, evidence-based information supported by facts, data, and supporting materials, addressing the following key criteria:

  • Background: Provide an overview of the context surrounding the implementation of technology within your health & safety operations. Explain the challenges, opportunities, or specific needs that prompted the adoption of technology, and how it aligns with your organisational safety objectives.
  • Key Projects & Initiatives: Detail the main projects or initiatives where technology has been applied. Highlight the objectives, scope, and implementation strategies of each project, emphasising how technology was used to drive improvement, efficiency, and safety performance.
  • Innovation: Showcase the innovative aspects of the technology applications. Describe any unique features, functionalities, or approaches that differentiate your use of technology from traditional methods or industry standards.
  • Outcomes & Results: Present the tangible results achieved through technology implementation. Provide quantifiable metrics, data, or testimonials demonstrating the impact on safety performance, operational efficiency, compliance, or culture. Highlight measurable improvements and lessons learned that could benefit the wider health & safety community.
  • Supporting Materials: Include any supporting evidence such as charts, screenshots, photographs, or testimonials that validate your claims and illustrate the effectiveness and innovation of your technology initiatives.
