UK fire and security services provider Ranger Fire & Security has completed acquisition of MarkOne Safety Solutions, a West Midlands fire protection specialist, according to Facilitate Magazine.
The London-headquartered buyer has not revealed financial terms.
MarkOne Safety Solutions delivers comprehensive fire protection infrastructure including design, supply, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of fire safety and emergency lighting installations. Client scope spans individual retail locations through to distributed multi-site operations requiring coordinated system management across entire asset lifecycles.
The transaction extends Ranger's geographic footprint into the West Midlands whilst augmenting internal technical competencies across fire safety engineering, installation execution and preventative maintenance delivery. The move follows consecutive January and February acquisitions of Dorset's Partnership Fire and Security plus Centurion Fire & Security respectively.
MarkOne will maintain operational autonomy under current management structures, with Managing Director Mark Haynes continuing in his existing role. Workforce and specialist technical personnel remain with the acquired entity post-completion.
Ranger Fire & Security characterised the deal as capacity expansion supporting broader Midlands customer access. Mark Bridges, CEO of Ranger Fire & Security, highlighted additional technical depth gained across fire safety system engineering, procurement, deployment and servicing functions strengthening regional service delivery.
The completion marks Ranger's sixteenth corporate development transaction since establishment in early 2024. Hyperion Equity Partners backs the consolidation strategy targeting regional fire and security operators as building blocks for nationwide UK and Ireland service coverage.
The acquisition pattern mirrors broader sector dynamics where scale-focused providers absorb regional specialists to expand territorial reach and aggregate technical capabilities across fire safety and security disciplines.
