UK-based healthcare diagnostics provider Randox Health has opened a new clinic at 67 Hill Street, Newry, its fifth location in Northern Ireland, further extending the company's drive to make preventative health testing accessible on the high street.
ITIJ reported that the Newry facility joins existing Randox Health clinics in Belfast, Derry/Londonderry, Crumlin, and Holywood, forming part of a broader programme of expansion across the UK and Ireland.
The clinic offers Randox Health's full suite of diagnostic tests, including its flagship Everyman and Everywoman health checks, which analyse biomarkers covering heart, liver, kidney, thyroid, hormonal, and nutritional health across up to 150 markers per assessment.
The facility targets a two-hour turnaround time from receipt of sample at the laboratory to delivery of results for select tests, a timeframe the company describes as industry-leading.
Rather than entering new locations organically, Randox Health has consistently invested in establishing permanent high-street facilities, building on the diagnostic infrastructure developed during the Covid-19 pandemic to support a growing national clinic network.
Established in 1982 and headquartered in Crumlin, County Antrim, Randox Health delivers advanced diagnostic testing and preventative health solutions to healthcare systems, employers, and consumers globally. The company employs around 2,200 staff, manufactures over four billion tests annually, and operates across 145 countries, with its products estimated to be involved in 5% of diagnostics globally.
The Newry opening supports the company's wider objective of bringing early diagnostic intervention directly to the public, at a time when demand for accessible private health screening continues to grow across Northern Ireland.
