Around Noon, a Northern Ireland-based food-to-go manufacturer, has entered a four-year corporate partnership with Natasha's Foundation to advance allergen management practices and food safety education across the industry.

Industry publication Belfast News Letter reported that the agreement, running until 2030, will see Around Noon provide financial support alongside manufacturing expertise, operational insight, and participation in workshops focused on industry best practice for allergen management.

The partnership formalises a relationship that began in 2024, when Around Noon co-sponsored the Game Changer Award at the Women of the Year Awards, presented to Tanya Ednan-Laperouse OBE, co-founder of Natasha's Foundation, in recognition of her campaigning work on allergen legislation following the death of her daughter Natasha from anaphylaxis at the age of 15.

As part of the partnership launch, Natasha's Foundation corporate partnerships manager Ella Dobson participated in a company-wide engagement event across all Around Noon manufacturing sites, incorporating Food Safety Lunch and Learn sessions focused on allergen awareness, safety culture, and manufacturing best practice.

Dominic Darby, group technical director at Around Noon, said: "Food allergy awareness and allergen management remain critical priorities for the food industry, and we are proud to support the Foundation's mission while also helping shape best practice across manufacturing and food service."

Dobson added: "Partnerships like this are essential in helping us raise awareness, influence positive change, and continue driving improvements in food allergy safety."

The announcement coincides with Natasha's Foundation launching a £10m (approximately €11.6m) global research prize, the largest fund for food allergy research ever awarded in the UK, aimed at developing preventative solutions for a condition affecting an estimated 220 million people worldwide.
