Japanese industrial manufacturer Mitsuboshi Belting has obtained ISO45001 certification, the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, in March 2026, according to a company announcement.
The Kobe-based company, led by President Hiroshi Ikeda, achieved certification covering its domestic locations and affiliated companies.
ISO45001 is a standard established by the International Organization for Standardization designed to accurately identify and reduce occupational health and safety risks in the workplace, prevent occupational accidents and health hazards, and continuously improve the workplace environment.

The certification confirms these efforts have been objectively evaluated by a third-party certification body as compliant with international standards. Certified sites include Mitsuboshi Belting's Kobe Head Office, Kobe Plant, Nagoya Plant and Shikoku Plant, plus seven affiliated companies including Mitsuboshi Belting Sales Co., Mitsuboshi Belting Conveyor Co., Mitsuboshi Belting Kohki Co., Mitsuboshi Belting Giken Co., Neo-roofing Co. (Kobe Branch), Mitsuboshi Butsuryu Kohsan Co., Mitsuboshi Belting CHEM Co., and M.B.L. Sogo Support Co.
The company stated it will ensure reliable operation and establishment of this management system at these locations whilst working to expand it across the entire group and further enhance it.
