With over 16 years’ experience in occupational medicine across Northern Ireland and the UK, Dr Ferguson brings expertise spanning healthcare, education, emergency services, local government, construction, manufacturing, and SMEs.

As a consultant and accredited specialist, he manages the full spectrum of occupational health services, including fitness-for-work assessments, ill-health retirement reviews, health surveillance, and workplace health promotion. His leadership will ensure clinical governance, ethical compliance, and high professional standards across all HMOH operations.

Dr Ferguson holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Leadership and a Master’s in Medical Education, equipping him to mentor the clinical team and drive strategic growth. His appointment provides deeper expertise in-house, differentiating HMOH in a competitive market and creating a scalable platform for service expansion throughout the UK and Ireland.

Managing Director Shaun Doran emphasised that bringing a consultant physician in-house strengthens service capability and clinical oversight. Dr Ferguson will focus on specialist assessments, complex case management, and expanding clinical capacity to meet evolving client needs.
