Duality Healthcare has strengthened its executive team with key appointments as it accelerates expansion across Northern Ireland’s primary care sector. John McEvoy assumes the role of chief executive, transitioning from chairman and co-founder, while Sarah Marks joins as chief operating officer from Kingsbridge Healthcare Group.

The leadership reshuffle also includes Fergus McIlduff as chief financial officer, Neil Cooke as head of business development, Holly McGeeney-Murray as head of marketing, and Helen Hughes as head of HR. Dr Declan Morgan, co-founder, moves into the role of chief medical officer to maintain clinical oversight while the organisation scales patient-focused services.

The appointments are designed to support Duality Healthcare’s strategic objective of expanding affordable, accessible, and high-quality primary care. The company currently operates clinics in Newry, Ballymena, and Omagh, with further locations scheduled to open in 2025 and 2026. The leadership team will oversee operations, patient safety, and service delivery standards across this growing network.

Earlier in 2025, Duality Healthcare secured a £4.5 million investment round, funding the launch of additional clinics, further service expansion, and creating up to 80 new jobs across Northern Ireland. The capital injection positions the company to enhance patient outcomes, reduce healthcare access pressures, and implement innovative care models in a region where primary care demand is high.

John McEvoy emphasised the need for innovation in patient care, stating that the strengthened team will redefine primary healthcare delivery by improving accessibility, service quality, and patient experience.

The company aims to introduce new clinics equipped with streamlined operations, optimised workflows, and integrated clinical services, all designed to meet evolving health and safety standards.
