Irish construction safety software company Boxcore has announced major expansion into the North American market.

Founded by Dublin civil engineer Padraig Reilly, the platform now supports more than 1,100 projects worldwide and manages over 40,000 worker profiles.

Designed for frontline construction teams, Boxcore digitises safety compliance, worker onboarding, and workforce management. “Construction teams are incredibly busy and need to solve problems under pressure. There's no room for technology that slows things down. Users have to see the benefits quickly at site level,” said Reilly.

The mobile-first platform allows foremen, subcontractors, and site operatives to verify compliance status, check certifications, and complete safety documentation in seconds rather than hours. Boxcore also integrates with major project management systems, including Procore and Autodesk, enabling seamless safety management without disrupting existing workflows.

The US expansion has already onboarded more than 20 contractors, including several of North America’s top 50 firms. The platform supports SST card verification in New York City and adheres to regional regulatory requirements, providing real-time access to equipment inspection records, RAMS, training registers, and toolbox talks.

Boxcore’s technology goes beyond documentation, offering facial recognition-powered time and attendance tracking to ensure compliance and prevent unauthorised site access. 

The platform scales for both Tier One contractors managing multi-site programmes and SMEs overseeing smaller projects. Most clients achieve full rollout within 24 to 48 hours without complex IT support or lengthy training.

Supported by Enterprise Ireland as a High Potential Start-up, Boxcore also maintains offices in Dublin, London, and New York City. Its expansion aligns with the growing demand for digital safety solutions in construction, where traditional paper-based methods create compliance gaps and slow operational efficiency.
