Liam is currently the Acting Chief Fire Officer in Carlow County Fire and Rescue Service. He has worked in the area of public safety since 2008. He was instrumental in the transition of Carlow Fire Services Safety Management Systems accreditation to ISO 45001. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin and is a Member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland.
