Dr. Alison Connolly
Postdoctoral Researcher, National University of Ireland Galway (NUI Galway)
Alison Connolly has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health & Safety and PhD in Exposure Science from the National University of Ireland Galway. Currently, Alison is establishing a successful research career as an exposure scientist, specialising in evaluating human exposures to pollutants, predominantly using a human biomonitoring sampling strategy, in environmental and occupational settings.
Alison is also on the board of the European Chapter of the International Society of Exposure Science as a Councillor for 'Exposure Science Capacity Building, Training and Education', a committee member of the Occupational Hygiene Society of Ireland and a former Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fellow.
